Who knew?

I highly recommend this quiz...so fun! and so surprising...would have loved to have been Lizzie but I really do like Anne as well. What do you think? Do you agree with my characterization? Who are you?
You are Anne Elliot of Persuasion! Let's face it, you're easily persuaded, especially when faced with choices that are or aren't 'the Elliot way.' But this doesn't mean that you don't have conviction. Actually, your sense of duty is overwhelming. And though you won't stick your neck out too often, you have learned to speak up when it counts. To boot, you know how to handle sticky situations. You love deeply and constantly.

This was really cool. I do agree partly, but I'm not sure if I've noticed your ever being easily persuaded. Can you believe I'm Elinor Dashwood?

They mentioned on the news a bit ago that our storms were coming from WI which had caused tornados in Kenosha. I was relieved when I saw you had posted - praying this means you are all safe. Can you believe tornados in January...I would say "Only in Michigan" but apparently that is not the case!

That was neat!!! I guess I'd agree with mine...

You are Elinor Dashwood of Sense & Sensibility! You are practical, circumspect, and discreet. Though you are tremendously sensible and allow your head to rule, you have a deep, emotional side that few people often see.

Yes, we are fine! No damage anywhere near us...but quite a few homes were decimated a few miles west of us. Very scary indeed. Liz C. called during the warning to check on us proving once again there is no family like Diamond Springs!!

In regards to the quiz, Laura, you know me pretty well. I wondered on that as well. But, I do waffle on some things and seem to need to discuss it with someone else to decide...that would fit the bill. But I think it was my answers on being constant (and looking for that in a mate) that really swung me her way).

The bad thing about this quiz is that you could swing it one way or the other just by knowing the characters. But for fun...it definitely is that.

Elinor...LOVE her...and I think that's a good match!

I am Emma Woodhouse from Emma. Being the Jane Austin fan that I am I loved the quiz.

Jenny;

Just catching up on blogging after the holidays. I hope you all are feeling better now. Wow, it's tough when your kiddos get sick isn't it? So sorry.
I'm looking forward to trying this quiz, sounds fun. I'm not very familiar with Austen so I guess I won't be very easily swayed toward characters. :)

Hope you all have a wonderful New Year.

Great quiz! I'll save it for my seniors (girls, that is) - Austen is one of my favorite authors and I enjoy teaching that unit.

I am sharing you blog w/Mom this morning!

Just so you know, I was judged to be Anne Elliot of Persuasion as well!! Probably about right..Interesting..and fun!
